The freight train made its way past me as I sat cross legged, behind the yellow line. I had never noticed the small circular plastic bits that made up the line at Hornsby train station.
The sun shone bright on my little seating space on the ground. I felt like a granthi sitting there. In the full thirty minutes it took the fast train to arrive, I contemplated life.
I thought about why the line was there in the first place. I wondered whose idea it was and if the line was already there before I was born.
The person who had the idea would have been quite logical and pragmatic. I watched as passengers boarded the train. I got up and boarded with them. It felt nice to be a passenger. I stood looking out the window, and I saw greenery. Someone had graffitied along the tracks, "Big Boy". Everything was so relaxed and the train hummed underneath my feet.
Hum, hum, hum.
The station stopped at 2 stops before it got to Strathfield.
I got off and caught the connecting train to Parramatta.
Ah, it was good to be home.
Home is where the heart is, and I left mine in Parramatta back at work. I used to sell cosmetics at the Myer there. I did get one Clarins product when I went back to see the girls. I thoroughly enjoy cosmetics so of course I bought the daily energiser cleansing gel. New samples were also given to me. Clarins always gives samples! It's a great way to try new products.
So I tried the cleansing gel, one of my favourites and the next day I woke up with less acne. Can a product really bring you happiness? I don't know, but Clarins energiser gel comes quite close to a great relaxed feeling. New products include the hydra-essentiel eye mask and new hydra-essentiel lip balm.
Using the gel brought back so many happy memories of working at Clarins, and performing consultations for customers as well as friends.
(Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. I simply enjoy Clarins)
